FROM A COSTUMER’S DREAM TO ITS REALIZATION – A WASHBASIN OF FUNCTIONAL, CLEAN AND RESISTANT DESIGN.

In this photo, you see the last of the bathroom washbasins produced by MissMarmi.

It has the advantage of being optimally suitable for the modern style as the Italian market requires at the moment.

Minimalist but also functional, with a clean and elegant line because today the bathroom is no longer seen as a service space in a flat, a villa, but also in a small one – room flat. The bathroom is above all a relaxing environment from the beginning of the day when you get ready to go out, until the moment before you go to bed with a relaxing shower or bath. Cleanliness and order give people who use it that sense of relaxation.

Three are its strong points that make this washbasin resistant, modern and suitable for our current style.

1. First point: The significant inclination of the angled washbasin at 45 degrees to avoid water accumulation. So it is a self – cleaning washbasin thanks to its manufacturing process to make it and functional. Unlike the usual washbasins on the market, it consists of a few slabs assembled and glued together with 45 degree joints with square edges. They allow a perfect water drainage, thus avoiding stagnation, limescale and visible joints, making it resistant and unassailable over time.
2. Second point: Washbasin without drain which is often a limescale and water stagnation; but for water drainage it has a horizontal crack at the bottom of the inclination that ends with a steel basin at the back from which the drain starts. It is easily removable in case of clogging or if something like bracelets, earrings hooks, tweezers, etc. falls into.
3. Third point: The material with which it is made: the washbasin is made of Brown Antique leather finish granite. It has a dark brown colour tending to black with a medium homogeneous and large grain; Brown Antique granite comes from the quarries of Angola in southern Africa, more precisely from the Kalahary desert. But then it has undergone a leather finish processing that gives the stone a velvety effect both to the touch and to the eye. This granite is suitable for use in an environment such as the bathroom because it is resistant to acids, perfumes, detergents and anything that may come into contact during its use and absorb it.

Logically all this is not easy to achieve, but it is born from an idea of our customer. Then a careful project is developed in AutoCad for the subsequent preparation of millimetric measurements which, thanks to numerical control machines and the able hands of our expert craftsmen, become what the imagination has often created.
